Planning your visit

Here is everything you need to make the most of your visit to the Ashworth Barracks Museum.
Unlike many, modern museums, we utilise a guiding principle. Our guides will tell the stories of the deeds and actions of recipients of the Victoria Cross and explain the wars they fought in. Many of our guides are veterans, so they have had first-hand experience of military life. They welcome and can answer the many questions our visitors have. A full tour will take up to two hours.
